Five Things to Know on July 15: Hamilton Scout Heads Off to National Jamboree

It is Monday, July 15. Here are five things you need to know in Hamilton and Wenham: 

1. Three H’s: The sweltering summertime weather continues on Monday, with partly sunny skies and temperatures into the 90s.

2. Van Tour: New this year is a van tour of the Art Grows Here outdoor art exhibit across both towns. The van tour happens on Monday from 1-3 p.m. The tour is being offered by the Hamilton-Wenham van program for up to eight residents age 60 and up or those with a disability. Call 978-468-5534 to reserve a spot.

3. Brendan James: A performer that has been described as a "songwriter on the rise" by Entertainment Weekly will be performing in an intimate setting Monday night in Manchester-by-the-Sea. Brendan James will be at the Crowell Chapel at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20

4. Jamboree: The National Boy Scout Jamboree starts on Monday at The Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve in West Virginia. One Boy Scout from Hamilton will join 72 scouts from the Yankee Clipper Council at the Jamboree.

5. Golf: The North Shore Chamber of Commerce takes to the links on Monday at Ipswich Country Club for its annual golf tournament. Tee-off is at 1:30 p.m.
