Did you know the First Quarter Moon sets around midnight? Faces of the Moon, an ode in rhyming text with illustrator, Leslie Evans’ richly colored linoleum block prints and innovative die cuts introduce the names and shapes of the lunar phases. Leslie will demonstrate her method for developing a book, share an art project and sign copies of her book while you wait for your turn in the Mainely Stars planetarium and then view the night sky with members of the North Shore Amateur Astronomy Club.
