Monday, May 12: The Town of Wenham held a groundbreaking ceremony today to celebrate the new Veterans Memorial across the street from the Wenham Town Hall. The event was sponsored by the War Veterans Memorial Committee. The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by state Sen. Bruce Tarr, state Rep. Brad Hill, the Wenham Board of Selectmen, the Wenham Town Administrator, the Wenham Town Clerk, Wenham's police and fire chiefs and many donors, supporters and other contributing town officials.
