Water Main Replacement

Beginning Monday September 23, 2013 the Hamilton Water Department will continue the replacement of the water main project on Linden Street from Howard Street to Lois Street.  In addition, we will be installing a new water main on Margerie Street from Linden Street to Railroad Avenue.

The process will begin by grinding the trench on Linden Street from Howard to Lois Street and on Margerie Street from Linden to Railroad Avenue.  They will start by excavating for the tap and sleeves at the intersection of Margerie and Linden Street and the intersection of Margerie and Railroad Avenue.  The new water main will be installed on Margerie Street first and upon completion Linden Street will begin.  This work will continue for the next few weeks.  Throughout this project there may be disruption within the system.  As a result, discoloration of water may occur.
