REPRESENTATIVE HILL ANNOUCES CULTURAL COUNCIL GRANT

 

BOSTON – Representative Bradford R. Hill is pleased to announce that the Massachusetts Cultural Council has recently awarded the Hamilton-Wenham Cultural Council with a grant in the amount of $8,500. The Massachusetts Cultural Council supports cultural organizations, schools, local cultural councils, and artists in every city and town in Massachusetts.

“The grants awarded by the Massachusetts Cultural Council are important funds that help insure that our cultural activities and projects are available to benefit local residents, while also securing jobs in the nonprofit cultural sector,” stated Representative Hill.

The Massachusetts Cultural Council is a state agency supporting the arts, sciences, and humanities, to improve the quality of life in Massachusetts and its communities. It pursues its mission through a combination of grants, services, and advocacy for nonprofit cultural organizations, schools, communities, and artists.
