Massachusetts Sales Tax Holiday, Representative Hill Urges all to take Advantage
State Representative Bradford Hill would like to remind everyone that he and his fellow colleagues in the Legislature approved a bill creating a sales tax holiday on August 10th and 11th, marking the eighth year the Commonwealth will provide a two-day sales tax exemption.
The legislation is designed to increase sales for local businesses and provide relief to consumers, particularly as families prepare for a new school year.
“This is a great weekend to get out and support local businesses while also saving on any purchases less than $2,500,” stated Representative Hill. “I urge everyone get take advantage of the tax break.”
