First Church in Wenham Grants Committee Program for 2014

The Special Grants Program at First Church in Wenham was established in 1996 to support “good works” beyond the Church’s existing programs, and it has awarded annual grants every year since.

Applications are typically for fairly specific uses and the possibilities are endless!  Grants help to support needs within the church, the local communities, and around the world.

Last year’s recipients from the local area include Casa Building Fund at Second Church in Beverly, Si Nicaragua local youth trip, and Family Promise North Shore.  Global grants included Sitka Alaska Fine Arts Camp, Campaign for Southern Equity, Second Chance Africa, and the Congo Initiative. 

Grant applications are now being accepted for 2014.  Grants will be approved and mailed beginning in January.  

The application form is available by calling the Church office at 978-468-4900, or it can be downloaded from the Church’s web site at www.firstchurchwenham.org under the Special Grants tab.   The deadline to submit applications is November 15th.
