Wenham Voters Head to Town Meeting on Tuesday Night

A daily look at five things to know to get the day started from Hamilton-Wenham Patch.

It is Tuesday, Nov. 5. Here are five things you need to know in Hamilton and Wenham:

1. Sun: Sunny skies are forecasted to return by Tuesday afternoon, even if it won’t get all that much warmer. Clear skies often mean cool weather this time of the year, and Monday will be much a repeat on Monday with temperatures again in the 40s with a light southeast wind.

2. Trails: The main parking area and surrounding roads at Bradley Palmer State Park, off Asbury Street in Topsfield, will be closed for the next three days for a “special event.” During that time, parking will be relocated to the entrance on Highland Street in Hamilton, across from Pingree School. The relocated parking runs from 8 a.m. on Tuesday through 8 a.m. on Friday.

Waldorf: Cape Ann Waldorf School, in North Beverly just over the town line from Wenham, opens the door on Tuesday to elementary school parents to see what happens at the school, located at Moraine Farm. The open house runs from 8:15-10:15 a.m. and includes a tour of the school and a question and answer session with faculty.

4. Comics: Montserrat College of Art professors Adam Miller and Blyth Hazen will come up to Hamilton-Wenham Library on Tuesday night for a presentation about the history of comics and graphic novels. They will bring their own work and discuss artistic styles and subgenres of the literary form. The program starts at 7 p.m. in the large meeting room on the first floor.
