It is Tuesday, Dec. 24. Here are five things you need to know in Hamilton and Wenham:
1. Clearing: The sky is expected to clear through the day on Tuesday, making way for sunny skies and a high temperature around 32 degrees.
2. Unemployment: We’ll get town-by-town unemployment numbers on Tuesday for the month of November. Last week, we heard that the statewide unemployment numbers went higher than the national average for the first time in six years.

3. Eve: Tuesday is Christmas Eve, and if you are headed out to do some last minute shopping, make sure you call ahead. Most store will be open no later than 6 p.m. and some may be closing quite a bit earlier.
4. Library: The Hamilton-Wenham Library closes at 1 p.m. on Tuesday for Christmas Eve.

5. Brass: The Wenham-based Enon Brass makes a trip to the Market Basket store in Danvers on Tuesday to play “Caroler’s Favorites” from 1-3 p.m.
