who is running the town these days, the board of selectmen or the town manager???  Appear to be more and more folks asking this question as events take place, such as change in ambulance service being changed, yet no word that selectmen discussed same or agreed to sign a new contact.  Furher word has it that the town manager signed the contract and has the o.k. to sign contracts,  I was under the Ipression that the town manager was under the direction of the board of selectmen  Doesn't that mean having the board given the manager the o.k to sign contracts or not approve it???
