The League of Women Voters of Hamilton-Wenham reminds you to vote in the 2012 Presidential Primaries on March 6.
Note: Elementary School will be in session. Expect high traffic between 8:15-8:30am and 2:45-3:15pm.
Who can vote in the Primaries?
Massachusetts has a modified closed primary, meaning individuals who meet the following criteria can participate in the primary:
- You must be registered to vote.
- You must be enrolled as a Democrat or Republican; OR
- Are listed as Unenrolled (formerly known as ‘Independent’)
- The unenrolled may choose either a republican or democrat ballot at the polling place

More About Winthrop Elementary School
Winthrop Elementary School is one of two elementary schools in Hamilton. It serves students in grades K through 5 from both Hamilton and Wenham. The school is located on Bay Rd. (Route 1A) across from Patton Park, and also sits next to the Hamilton Senior Center, fire station and police station.
