June 30 - July 1, 2012 - Two day event to celebrate the Amesbury, MA region's historic horse-drawn carriage making legacy - once known as the "Carriage Center of the World". June 30, Day 1: Bluegrass, Brew & BBQ fundraiser with Southern Rail band and dinner from The American BBQ, silent and live auctions, Carriage Showcase antique and newer carriages on display. To benefit the Amesbury Carriage Museum and The Carriage Barn Equine-Assisted Therapy Programs. July 1, Day 2: Sporting Day of Traditional Driving with live horse and carriage drivers, farrier demonstration, vendors, and carriage and early auto displays.
