Obviously someone knew what was going on before this tragedy had to happen. The Hamilton and Beverly police departments are responsible, when they knowingly are aware of the circumstances and the DA does nothing. Shame on District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett on this cover up. Blodgett and the chiefs of both Beverly and Hamilton should be forced to step down. It is a travesty and supports a double standard, when a police officer is allowed to use his weapon in public with the intent to kill another officer who has allegedly been sleeping with that officers wife. There should be a public outcry from the town of Hamilton and Beverly citizens and not allow this incident to, "just slide" because it is of a personnel nature. Obviously Hamilton and the surrounding areas have had many instances where infidelity has caused harm to married couples. To do nothing is to justify this behavior to continue. Where is HAWK now, when it comes to chiming in on the domestic issues which face our towns and yet never brings accountability or asks for those to step up and be responsible for their actions or in-actions, whatever the case may be ? Hamilton and Wenham police forces should be combined in the first place. What a waste of money, having two police departments ! When will the residents of Hamilton wake up ! We should have a Regional Police Force, period !
Just like communities around Boston have a Metro-police force, sharing in the cost.
H/W only needs a Regional police force.

My heart goes out to the Nagy family and especially out to their children who ultimately are the real victims in this latest shooting !
