Distracted Driving: Teenage drivers will get to see firsthand the consequences of distracted driving (such as texting while driving) after spending 15 minutes in the Distractology driving simulator outside the . The trailer will first be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday and will run all week. Participants will leave with a $15 gas card too.

2. Readers’ Choice: Earlier this summer, we solicited . That voting starts on Monday and runs through Aug. 17. You will need to be logged in as a Patch user in order to vote and you can only vote once per category.

3. Wenham Conservation Commission: The Wenham Conservation Commission meets on Monday at 7:30 p.m. at , where the commission will discuss plans for the Parsons Hill neighborhood to create a skating pond and trail work at , among other items on its agenda.

4. Fresh Air Fund: Monday marks the final day for this summer’s visit to Hamilton and Wenham from seven kids as part of the Fresh Air Fund. Each summer, visit suburban and rural communities in 13 Northeastern states. Recruiting starts in January for next year’s host families here on the North Shore.
