The volunteer position of trial steward combines the love of the outdoors with volunteering. Walk trails at Appleton Farms on a regular basis, report the trail conditions and any concerns to the property manager. Remove any small litter, clear trail of small sticks and branches, and interact with other visitors, answering their questions about the property.
