Emme Morales Takes the Stage in LEGALLY BLONDE
What’s hilarious, fun, and entertaining all wrapped up with a nice pink bow? It’s Boston Children’s Theatre’s (BCT) production of LEGALLY BLONDE! LEGALLY BLONDE has two rotating casts and features the talents of 11-year old Emme Morales of Wenham in the role of ‘Prison Guard.’ This entertaining, high energy musical will be performed at The Governor’s Academy in Byfield, MA July 12 – 15, 2012.
“When we asked our students what musical they most wanted to do, LEGALLY BLONDE was at the top of the list,” said Toby Schine, BCT Executive Producer. “This type of high energy musical needed just the right director, and we are thrilled to announce that Broadway actress and renowned director Lisa Yuen will be returning to BCT to direct this production. Her style and energy are contagious and her talents create the perfect match for this musical. It’s going to be a terrific experience for our students and the audience.”
LEGALLY BLONDE follows the adventures of Elle Woods, the pretty in pink college sweetheart and homecoming queen with the tenacity and enthusiasm to get things done. When her boyfriend dumps her for someone ‘serious,’ Elle follows him to the land of crimson, Harvard Law School, and proves that being true to yourself never goes out of style. Featuring a score that will leave audiences humming long after they’ve left the theater, BCT’s production of LEGALLY BLONDE is directed by Lisa Yuen, with choreography by Nicole Soriano.
LEGALLY BLONDE will be performed at The Governor’s Academy, 1 Elm Street, Byfield, MA.
