Have a "rail"fun time discovering the miniature world of model locomotives as we celebrate the 17th model train exhibit at the museum. Watch trains traversing bridges, disappearing into tunnels, and stopping to pick up tiny passengers along the way in this popular model train exhibit.

Enjoy the holiday favorite model train layouts featuring the Snow Train to Bakersville, from November 9 to February 24 and the Gingerbread Express on display December 8-15.  Revisit the museum throughout the exhibit to see special model train layouts including: the Geo-Trax Toy Train layout November 11 and 12, The Lego ®Train February 16 and 17, 2013 and the NMRA Hub Division Modular Railroad January 19 – 21, 2013.
