Always Assume Wenham Trash Pickup is on Regular Day During Storms
Always assume trash pickup will happen as usual during and after a storm in Wenham unless you hear otherwise from town officials.

In the case of a storm or other natural event in Wenham, unless residents receive a Connect-CTY message indicating otherwise, always assume there will be trash pickup on your regular day (not including holidays, when it is a day later).
Many residents assumed that with Hurricane Sandy, there would be no pickup. But it is best to check the town website at www.wenhamma.gov, your local listings or by calling the Town Hall for more information.

This may be the dumbest thing I've ever read. During the recent hurricane, you could not call Town Hall because it was closed. If you were without power, you could not check the website. If you had a cordless phone, you could not get a CTY call. Since the governor issued a state of emergency and asked people to stay off the roads, it was completely reasonable for people to assume trash would be delayed.
As for trash being picked up on the Federal and State holiday, go figure.
