Agawam Youth Hockey hosted a “Bring a Friend to Skate” event on April 15 that offered residents of all ages the opportunity to come to learn to skate.

It was held at Pingree School’s Aldrich Rink. The event was free to the public and offered skating instruction, fun on-ice activities and free T-Shirts, popcorn and hot dogs for all participants. The event was designed to encourage physical activity, skill development and awareness of the great coaching and the many great families that are part of the Agawam Youth Hockey program. Agawam Youth Hockey is the town hockey program of Hamilton, Wenham, Ipswich, Essex and Manchester-by-the-Sea.
